Prestige Warden Call's nurse and warden call systems are manufactured
extensively for use with care of the elderly, infirm and disabled in
nursing homes and sheltered accommodation throughout the UK.
In the event of a medical emergency, time is everything and a patient
needs to be able to alert the warden on call to a problem quickly. All
our nurse call systems are therefore designed with easy operation in
mind. In the event of an emergency, either pressing an alarm button
or pulling a cord on the nurse call unit can summon the warden on call.
Once triggered, our nurse call alarm systems will send a warning signal
to the resident warden requesting assistance and repeat the call every
2 seconds until a response is received.
The receiving nurse call stations provide an audible signal and clear
identification of the patient that needs assistance. Our nurse call
systems clearly inform the warden on call of the name, exact location
and any special needs or disabilities of the patient that is in trouble.
Some nurse call systems also include a hand held unit for receiving
emergency calls, which gives the carer the flexibility to move about
the nursing home or care centre as required without missing an emergency
call.
